Socializing

As a commuter student at college, Gerry always had trouble socializing with his classmates. The idea of having a girlfriend was practically out of the question. Yet after one of his classes, he heard some girls complaining about a concert they really wanted to attend.

“21+ shows are so stupid,” One of them whined.

“I know! We’re 18! We’re adults! We should be allowed in!” Another echoed.

“They let 18+ with someone over 21,” The third mused, “But it’s not like we’re cool enough with any seniors.”

"I could help,” Gerry interrupted.

“There’s no way you are over 21,” The first girl scoffed.

“Just bring an extra ticket for me day of show, and trust me, okay? I’ll pick you all up at 6PM.”

When the day of show came, Gerry’s car pulled up to the girls’ dorm room, and the three women were surprised to see a middle aged woman driving.

“It’s me; it’s Gerry,” The woman said.

The three students shrugged and got in the car before heading to the concert. With Gerry along, they weren’t even carded at the door. As the headlining act came on, the girls danced in excitement and cheered on Gerry to do the same. He was sure his mom was going to be pissed about the whole body swapping thing in the morning, but maybe she’d just be glad he got out and socialized for a little while. In fact, with the way things were going, maybe he could go back to the dorms with one of this girls tonight...then his thoughts stopped dead in his tracks. Not with this body he couldn’t!
