Not long ago, James was the CEO of this company. That was before all the weird body swapping stuff that took place that caused him to swap bodies with one of the lowliest interns at the company -- she didn’t even have a full cubicle!
And yet he decided not to claim his rightful position as CEO, instead opting to continue the life of the intern. In part, it was simply fun to be able to act young again; he went to college parties on the weekend and classes on the weekdays he wasn’t in the office. There was certainly a lot less pressure as an intern as well. However, the part of it he probably enjoyed most was her loving family. Both of her parents were still alive, and she had two brothers. This was a far cry from James, who had been an only child and never married.
One thing that did strike him as odd was that she never spoke up to rightfully claim her body. He figured she would. Who in their right mind would give up this life?
