Longer

Things were just starting to get back to normal after the Great Shift swapped the bodies of 90% of the people on the planet. Edward considered himself fairly lucky to have swapped with his wife, Marie. He figured it kept the logistics of things fairly simple, other than having to deal with a new gender obviously.

Marie warned that he wasn’t prepared for quite how big a change that would in the outside. After buying tickets to one of the first post-Shift baseball games, she gave him a particular warning about long lines for the restroom that women often had to deal with. He dismissed the concern; he probably shouldn’t have.

The line snaked around the stadium. Edward knew he was missing several innings worth of action, and it still felt like he had a long ways to go. And the worst part was that was sure he was going to pee his pants waiting in this line. It was not only just as bad Marie had warned but worse -- the combination was a result of an inadequate number of bathrooms for women coupled with an increase in attendance due to men being in women’s bodies as well as many of those men still being unfamiliar and a little slower with their now female bodies.
