View Part 2 of The Fog.
It’s been six months since we encountered the fog that turned us into women; we never reverted back to normal. The day after it happened, we got the car fixed and got back to campus. We told only a few close friends who helped us hack a few records at the college, so we could continue relatively seamlessly. Mack picked the name Mackenzie; I chose Ming. Mackenzie tried to give me grief because Ming was nothing like my original male name; I told her I didn’t care.
And, as we discussed, we decided to start a relationship. I think we were the talk of campus for about a week. It wasn’t because we were lesbians (there were plenty of those on campus), but because we were a lesbian couple that seemingly came out of nowhere. Technically, we did, but it easy to explain that we were simply insivible nobodies before and were able to go back to that sort of status soon enough.
Every once and a while, we’d take the car out to where we first transformed. We never encountered the pink fog ever again, not that we ever wanted to.
