Lightning Crashes (Part 1)

“Where the heck do you think you’re going?” I shouted out to my body that was now just walking off in the distance, “We need to figure out a way to fix this!”

“We were struck by lightning and swapped bodies!” I heard my own voice shout back at me, “The chances of recreating that are almost zilch. You’d be better off spending your time adjusting to my body and accepting the fact that you’re a woman now!”

I suppose she was right, but I still couldn’t understand why she was running off so quickly. After all, she knew nothing more about my life than I knew about hers. It probably made more sense to stick together and learn from each other, but she seemed to have no interest in any of that.

At the same time, if there were going to be stuck like this and be forced to live each other’s lives, he knew exactly where his apartment was, his old job, and everything about his old life. Even if she was trying to run away now, he knew exactly where to find her.
