Reginald had been cataloging the musuem’s recent acquisitions, which were a series of statues in impeccable condition. There was one of a woman in a robe that he took particular interest in. The features seemed far too detailed for the period, especially considering the age of the statue.
He wanted to examine it further, but when he touched the statue ever so slightly, it started to change. It seemed all too remarkable, but the statue had become male and bore a striking resemblance to Reginald himself!
It took a few more moments for Reginald to realize the statue wasn’t the only thing that changed. His hands were now more dainty and feminine. He rushed to the bathroom, and in the mirror he saw a woman looking back at him. But not just any woman -- it was the face of the original statue, but in the flesh!
He paced back to the statue that now looked like his former male body wearing a classic toga. His current female body wore a plain dress, seemingly the feminine equivalent of his nondescript suit. He tried to touch the statue again to turn back, but to no avail.
He had never seen nor heard of artifact like this! It was certainly a discovery, but how wouldhe convince anyone if it only worked once!
Was there a story , A legend of it
