Trevor’s computer pinged. The virus he programmed got a new hit, and the IP was in the perfect type of wealthy neighborhood that he often targeted. So he put on his modified VR headset and went to work, uploading himself onto the web to be downloaded into the brain of the user on the other end.
It was fortunate that so many people had microchip implants these days. Trevor could download himself into just about anyone with full access to their memories and everything else. He’d spent a few hours transferring money to crypto and then send that crypto to his own wallet.
And sure, he’d often end up in a woman’s body who was also a little older -- like the one he was in today. He always hated the feeling of both, so he’d just try to focus on the task at hand.
