Island Vacation (Part 3)

View Part 1 of Island Vacation.
View Part 2 of Island Vacation.
As the months passed, Mason began to adjust to his new life of this woman. She had a lot of debts; many of them to her brother. Luckily, Mason was able to easily handle the receptionist job; the worst part was probably that her brother insisted Mason wear a dress on the job. But it was a way to earn money, and he had a lot to pay back. It was nearly impossible to save between that and ongoing expenses. He was pretty thankful for this woman’s brother. Not only had he provided the job, but he rented the room in his apartment to Mason for dirt cheap. Mason often thought about sharing with him about the swap, but the find out the person who looked like his sister and acted like she turned her life around with his help wasn’t actually his sister would probably be too much for the guy. So Mason kept pretending. He often tried calling his old number, but no one ever picked up. He did collect his meager savings in a jar, but opted against buying a plane ticket once he was about halfway to his goal. He could only imagine how much this woman screwed up his life now that she had control over it for a few months. If they were to swap back, he’d probably be in an even bigger mess, and there’d be no kind brother to help him out in his own body.
