Jeff did his best to adjust to living Cynthia’s life. He wore her clothes; he went to bed with her husband; he hung with her friends. He hated all of it. He’d often regret leaving the prison with this body, thinking if he stayed longer he might’ve escaped with a better body.

Then one day while pumping gas, it dawned on him. What if the experiment hadn’t been swapping bodies inside the prison? What if that small hope of escape had been planned by whoever was running the test? Would he take the escape despite this very different body (which he obviously did take)? And what if they were still watching him now? What if this body was just a different type of prison and a different type of experiment?
