In the Club

Within the club the Great Shift was pretty much self-contained. And with all the booze, pills, and other illegal substances, it took several hours for anyone to even notice the effects. It was Alec who noticed first. He felt like his high was coming down; in fact, he wasn’t even sure if he had a high at all. Things felt different, but he couldn’t quite place it for about an hour. It was when he needed to pee. He pushed through the people to find a bit of space and finally noticed his new body.
