A Mile (Part 2)

For a moment, it seemed like fate. After thinking about it the day before, Alan ran into the witch the next day on his run. He pleaded with her to give him his body back. She smiled and said he had to walk a mile in a woman’s shoes. He protested, explaining how much he had walked over the course of a week. Her smile grew larger, tell him that the sneakers didn’t count. He was going to have to wear some pumps or boots, something with a heel over four inches. Alan returned home, feeling defeated. Heels? Was she seriously telling him that he had to wear heels in order to get his body back? He hadn’t minded going out on runs with this body, but going out in heels? Was it really worth it to get his body back? He supposed it was...
