And so Lewis, now that he thought he was actually Frances, was returned to Arizona to live her life. He assumed her role as loving wife and mother. He spent the days doing chores, taking care of the kids, and cleaning up around the house. From his perspective, he just continued what he thought he had always done -- even though this was actually his first time doing many of these things. That’s how the reassignments usually went, smoothly without anyone every really taking any notice. The Lewis-Francis swap didn’t seem to be an except...at least not yet. Every now and again, small cracks begin to appear, little hints that people aren’t really who they appear to be. Sometimes they take a few weeks to appear, sometimes years (and often times never). It would be a little while before Lewis started to crack. Until then, he was happy to be the model home-maker.
