Irving’s plan was to mostly observe the panda in Maggie’s body and not to interfere unless it was doing something too embarrassing, dangerous, or illegal. For a while, it didn’t seem like it would be much of an issue. After all, his perception of pandas was that they mostly lounged around all day anyway. Of course, they also ate. The panda approached a tree and picked off a leaf. Irving pondered if this would be considered too embarrassing. He shrugged it off; he figured he’d seen people do far stranger things.
