While it was hard for Ollie to accept that he was now in the body of a beautiful female figure skater, it was even harder for him to accept was how now saw him as a national hero. People perceived his actions in the wake of the Great Shift’s chaos to be admirable and courageous. He had tried to downplay it all, which only seemed to result in praise of his humility. He knew there was probably going to be no way around it, so he began to embrace it. He would meet fans and sign autographs. He even decided he would keep figure skating considering his body’s natural inclination towards the sport, though he knew next time that he would have to depend on a little more than muscle memory.
