The day started out with such promise. Jimmy woke up excited for the first day of his school’s basketball season; this year he was going to be team captain. He laughed when his sister told him she was thinking about trying out. He told her girls didn’t have any place on the court. He regretted those words when the Great Shift hit, and he found himself in her body. He knew she was talented at the game, but even now in her body, he had trouble dismissing his old sexist ways.
