Chris couldn't believe that he was finally going home! He had been on vacation in China when the Great Shift happened, swapping him into the body of a Chinese woman. Though he quickly proved his identity, the Chinese government claimed that he was now a Chinese citizen, subject to their laws and rules. He no longer had the freedoms of a United States citizen that he enjoyed previously. He couldn't just go back to the states as he pleased. He met with his embassy, and talks and negotations started to get him back home. A year later, at the Beijing airport, he looked out to see the plane that would take him back home to California. He couldn't be happier!
