Franklin didn't know why, but the next thing he felt compelled to do was get dressed in some of the clothes he found in the first room, so he returned and got himself into a lacey black dress. Taking a different turn out the door this time, he soon found himself in front of a window. He looked out to see that it was daylight, but the outside world was quiet, not a person in sight. He stayed at the window for several hours without a single soul passing.
